Once the second wave of pandemics curbed the nation, only one thing came to notice that all hospitals, nursing homes are full of patients, even no space out the hospital to give some relief to those people who came in contact with Covid -19. A virus continues to circulate. Recently our government of India issued a warning about the third wave of corona disease which is very dangerous compared to the second wave. Additionally, there is more unexpected news are on surface that different type of viruses are in contact like Black fungus, White Fungus and recently we got news that yellow Fungus also been detected in UP and it is hearsay evidence, that yellow fungus is more dangerous than other fungus.

Hospitals fail to provide oxygen to patients and no oxygen means no life !!!

All of sudden, due to shortage of oxygen patients came in trouble. Even though, patients are those very serious and required immediate oxygen support and treatment. But owing to lack of oxygen, people are unfortunately losing their valuable life. 

However, the government tried hard to overcome the issues and promised to fulfill all essential needs.

Life experience : In our daily life we never expect that one day we will have to face such a calamity in our life and hospitals would be less able to support human lives.

Friends, when I noticed that all of sudden, hospitals are facing shortage of oxygen supply and they are struggling to save the lives of people. I was filled with sorrow and subsequently, my mind and soul started thinking about how we can safely leave and help people.

So, I have immediately decided to share some essential healthy super food tips via this article on oxygen.

As a chef, may be my experience will help people to save their life by healthy food and  home remedies.

We knew very well what the right level of oxygen, blood sugar, blood pressure and pulse.

However I want to revise and refresh our knowledge because in this crucial time it is essential to know to take instant action if acquired.

Health care tips and equipment monitoring knowledge :

Blood Oxygen level :75 and 100 millimetres of mercury (mm Hg)

Systolic Blood pressure: 118

Diastolic Blood Pressure : 78

Fasting Blood Sugar : less than 100

Before Meal (Blood Sugar)  :  70-130

Pulse rate : 70

Also, we must be know, what is the parameter to check and what type of equipment we have to kept in home to self tasting.

Lets know about oxygen :

Most of the oxygen is carried by your RBC called Red blood cells.Which collects oxygen from the lungs and delivers it to all parts of the body.

What happens, when your oxygen level falls very low, your body may suffer with the symptoms like- confusion, shallow breathing, palpitation, dizziness and pressure in the head. A low oxygen environment needs some essential nutrients for energy.

Lack of oxygen weakens every body system and that is the main cause of disease. As a result it weakens the immune system which can cause viral infections, heart disease, pathogenic bacteria, inflammation etc.

Ways to Improve oxygenation 

1.Maintain fitness - Your fitness level is the largest determining factor in oxygen level.You need to periodically challenge your body through some exercises 3 times a week or so, Don't over do it but rather slowly build your tendency.

2.Maintain alkaline body pH - There is a relationship between oxygen and pH level. As pH level lowers the affinity of oxygen in hemoglobin molecules also decreases then the body becomes more alkaline,more oxygen is released.

So, during this pandemic covid-19 you must eat alkaline foods that's give you oxygen.

Benefits:- Alkaline eating means focusing on fresh fruits and vegetables. Avoid acidifying substances like sodas,coffee,alcohol,sugar,processed foods,sweets and microwaved foods.

 3.Improve your oxygen level by staying hydrated- H2O is made of two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom. Drinking enough water will keep you stay hydrated and will increase oxygen in your blood.

4.Take a few drops of chlorophyll- chlorophyll strengthens the blood producing organs.It has anti-aging and anti microbial properties and helps strengthen the immune system. Chlorophyll prevents anemia and gives an abundance of oxygen to the body.

Choose foods rich in chlorophyll such as - dark green leafy foods like mustard greens,spinach,broccoli and so on.

Oxygen rich fruits: 

1. Apricots, Alfalfa sprouts, Sweet apples - They are fiber rich foods and are very easy to digest. Also they are high in enzymes that are helpful in maintaining your body hormonal balance. You extremely need these foods because they increase blood oxygen levels.

Add alfalfa sprouts in your daily diet.

2.Agar agar or organic gelatin - These foods are high in calcium and iron.They are highly rich in dietary fiber that is easily digested by the body. One of the best foods that increases oxygen level.

3.lemons - This is one of the rich food.It is powerful and quick relief from cold, flu , cough , heartburn and other ailments related to disease and they are considered in alkalizing food. It is a good source of Vitamin C and helps to control weight.

4.Pineapple, Sweet grapes, passion fruit, raisins, vegetable juices - These foods are rich in vitamin A,B and C.They prevent the risk of heart disease.Grapes, raisins are blood regulating, which helps lower the blood pressure. Moreover, pineapple is rich in L-carnitine. It is loaded with nutrients and contains disease fighting antioxidants. Pineapples have anti-inflammatory properties that boost your immune system.

5.Fruit juices, kiwis,chicory - Fruit juice and kiwis are rich in vitamin C.It helps to improve the supply of oxygen.

Home herbal remedy:

Steam bath and neutralizer : Steaming is also one of the best ways to heal  your body and increase oxygen supply in the body.

Method of prepare Steam Bath

Take 2-3 glasses of water, add half tsp of Ajwain ( Carom seed / oregano), a pinch of Turmeric and boiled well.

Take one towel, cover your head and steam for at least 10 minutes. And repeat for three times in a day.

Steaming inhale will not only improve your oxygen level, but will help to relieve you from cold, cough, lungs issues which are the most common symptoms of Covid-19.

One more home treatment which helps to improve oxygen level. 

Take any clean cloth, personally I recommend white one just because of hygiene point of view.

So, keep mentioned ingredients in the center of white clean cloth, tie the knot and inhale whenever you feel uneasy. Its smell gives you freshness and relief from breathing related issues. 

Ingredients:- Clove 3-4, Green cardamom crusted 4-5 pieces, Ajwain half tsp, Camphor crushed (kapur). 


This home remedy is also used by mountain riders because on the mountain there is less oxygen and highly recommended from decade by superior as they have great experience of their journey and use of natural remedy which can help them instantly. We can say that it is PANACEA CURE.

For clean your lungs you can apply very useful home remedy 

Method of process: Mulethi 2 tsp, boiled in 2 cups of water then add ginger crushed and boil until water reduces by one cup. 

Finally, add 4-5 drops of lemon or according to your taste and take in the morning empty stomach for only three day without break.

We could survive without food or water for a few days, but can't survive a few seconds without oxygen.
